Pregnacy Support

Pregnancy is an exciting time, but it can also come with its own set of challenges—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Mood and anxiety disorders can emerge during pregnancy, even if you’ve never experienced them before. It’s normal to feel a wide range of emotions, from excitement and joy to stress, worry, or overwhelm.

We love when clients reach out during pregnancy to establish a support system early. Whether you’re struggling during your pregnancy, or simply want to a establish a trusted space to navigate the changes that may come postpartum, we are here to support you.

Together, we can build strategies for coping, establish routines for mental wellness, and help you feel more confident and prepared  during the journey ahead.

Birth Planning

Preparing for your birth experience can be incredibly helpful—especially for those who tend to feel more anxious.

At the same time, we know that being too attached to a rigid plan can sometimes lead to disappointment or even contribute to birth trauma if things don’t go exactly as expected.

Rather than creating a fixed birth plan, we encourage you to explore your preferences while remaining flexible and open to the unfolding experience. Thinking through your options in advance can help you feel informed and empowered, without adding pressure or unrealistic expectations.

If you’d like guidance on the various factors to consider for your birth experience, download our free Birth Preferences Guide, We’d love to support you in preparing for your ideal birth experience and hope this guide helps you communicate your needs with your care team.

We believe all new parents need and deserve support. Mood and anxiety disorders can begin during pregnancy or postpartum, even if you’ve never experienced them before. Seeking support early can help prevent symptoms from becoming overwhelming and help you feel more confident navigating this transition.

We offer individualized support that may include coping strategies for anxiety, emotional regulation, stress management, and preparation for delivery and postpartum mental health. For those who wish to strengthen their relationship and build parenting skills, we also offer couples sessions and workshops. All sessions are collaborative and tailored to your unique needs.

Yes! We welcome partners to participate if desired. Many moms choose to establish a relationship with a therapist individually at first, then invite their partner to a session to learn more about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, symptoms to watch for, and ways to provide support during the journey. If your goal is to strengthen your relationship and maintain connection while parenting, couples therapy is also an option to work together on communication and expectations.

Establishing a therapeutic relationship during pregnancy allows for continuity of care. Many clients continue working with us postpartum, which helps with smoother transitions and ongoing emotional support.
