We offer individual, couples, family, and group therapy for those navigating stress, life transitions, or mood and anxiety disorders—especially those connected to pregnancy, birth, and parenting. Our approach integrates a variety of evidence-based models including CBT, mindfulness, ACT, IFS, and EMDR to support your mental wellness, and our perinatal therapists have advanced training in perinatal mental health (postpartum depression, anxiety, etc.)
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-supported therapy used to process trauma, anxiety, grief, low self-worth, and other distressing life experiences. Our 2-hour intensive EMDR sessions help you work through past events so you can experience relief and move forward with clarity. To learn more about EMDR and how it works,
This 3-hour virtual workshop (plus a 1-hour follow-up session) helps couples strengthen their emotional bond, improve communication, and navigate conflict. Using tools from the Gottman Method—including the "Four Horsemen," bids for connection, and the Sound Relationship House—couples gain skills to create deeper connection and shared meaning.
Open to couples in any stage of their relationship.
Parenting during the early years can feel overwhelming, but support makes a difference. This free, in-person group offers a relaxed, welcoming space to connect with other parents and build emotional resilience. Led by therapists with expertise in perinatal mental health, the group meets Wednesdays from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM (alternating between virtual and in-person).
Babies and toddlers are welcome.
Individual supervision for interns and post-graduate counseling residents working toward licensure in the state of Virginia is offered by Megan MacCutcheon, Clinical Director, an approved supervisor via the Virginia Board of Counseling.
