Megan MacCutcheon, LPC, PMH-C

Megan is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Clinician passionate about spreading awareness of the various and very common Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders that exist but are often overlooked.

She offers Therapy Intensives for individuals ready to go beyond weekly sessions for more focused, accelerated work — supporting women and families navigating the challenges of pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting.

Megan is an EMDR practitioner and uses this modern, evidence-based treatment to help individuals who have experienced trauma or are struggling with anxiety related to birth. Through EMDR therapy, Megan has helped countless individuals move beyond distress to eliminate triggers and find healing and wellness.

She also integrates psychodrama and experiential techniques into her intensive therapy work, creating immersive experiences that support deeper processing and lasting change.

She is approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling as a registered supervisor and provides both individual and group supervision to Residents in Counseling working toward Virginia State Licensure.

Megan frequently presents on topics related to maternal mental health and is the co-founder of Be Hive Wellness.
